Golf.
With over half a dozen quality golf courses Dartmoor offers a wide range of golfing experiences. Whether you are a novice or a professional you will find terrain to challenge you. Set on or close to Dartmoor many courses enjoy fantastic moorland scenery, the sound of birdsong and scent of gorse flower on the breeze. Dartmoor Letterboxing.
A challenge to find cunningly concealed boxes using clues supplied on sheets or in books. A favourite pastime on Dartmoor started in 1854 and now giving thousands of letterboxes to find. Each letterbox has a guest book and you will be amazed at the global interest recorded. See

Walking.

Fly-Fishing.
Find wild fish in wild places! Mike Maslin will show you where, when and how if required. Numerous courses for all skill levels from this Devonian expert. You could hook up with a wild brown trout, sea trout or even a salmon on the East or West Dart or Cherry Brook, to name but a few. Horse-riding.
