September is the BIG ONE with the start of the 5th Chagford Film Festival along with a couple of Special Pre-Festival Events. We hope to see you some time over the Festival as we have tried to include a wide selection of films to interest as many film goers as possible.

Discount for multiple events

This year we have introduced a discount scheme, as we know so many of you like to come along to many events during the week. If you buy tickets to at least three separate events you will receive a 10% discount off the total cost of your tickets.

Very boring (but important) terms and conditions

  • The programme maybe subject to change.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Tickets are non-exchangeable (you cannot buy a ticket for one event, then call back asking to swap it for another event).
  • When booking a ticket for one of the “Lunch with…” events, please let us know at the time of booking if you are vegetarian or have any other dietary requirements.
  • The 10% discount for multiple events must be claimed at the time of purchase. You must buy tickets for at least three separate events. You will receive a 10% discount on the total cost of all your tickets.
  • If you opt to collect your ticket on the door, please arrive early to give plenty of time for collection.
  • We reserve the right to give your seat to someone else if you do not arrive on time.

A very special pre-festival event, we are delighted to be showing an exclusive preview of Dartmoor Killing – a psychological thriller filmed and set entirely on Dartmoor. This is a very special chance to see Dartmoor Killing before it is in the cinemas! BAFTA-winning director Peter Nicholson and Devon-based actress Victoria Lucie will be here in person to introduce the film and do a Q&A afterwards.

Lunch with… Chris Vile

A unique and fascinating chance to hear Dartmoor-based cameraman Chris Vile regale you with tales of his many adventures working for the BBC, Channel 4 and National Geographic in places such as Syria, China, Morocoo and Eastern Europe. Chris will give insights into his travelling working life, and answer your questions about his wide body of work – all while you share a delicious lunch!

Jenny Hammerton presents

‘Silver Screen Suppers’
