Chagford is an ancient Stannary town situated on the north eastern edge of Dartmoor. A thriving community, Chagford is a great place to visit as it has so much to offer. Dartmoor is full of wonderful places to visit and Chagford is very well placed as a base from which to explore this dramatic landscape. Devonís magnificent coasts - both north and south - are also easily accessible and the A30 (the main route on into Cornwall), is about 10 minutesí drive away.
